Won't all the announcements about Hillary clinching the nomination help Sanders in NJ and CA,

as opposed to hurting him? Why would Hillary supporters bother to stand in line to vote, knowing that their candidate has already clinched the nomination?

I'm obviously pleased that Hillary has clinched but I'm not sure that she herself will be happy about this being announced tonight and thereby decreasing her turnout tomorrow.

2. MSNBC reported that's the concern of the Clinton campaign. This could hurt her vote totals.

They should have waited until tomorrow night.

9. Well.... I don't like the idea of the news organizations deliberately witholding news stories

from the "grubby masses", on the basis that it's too soon for them to hear this news. I'm not saying that the story should have been temporarily suppressed, I just don't see it as necessarily helping Hillary's numbers tomorrow.

7. No because most of Hillary's voters in California already voted by mail

Bernie's voters are the last minute people who may or may not show up depending on how they feel.

The campaign timed their superdelegate announcement to the press at the exact best moment to stomp on turnout for the Califirnia primary.

14. Clinton's superdelegates timed their announcement to the press, obviously

If you don't know that superdelegates do that I'm sorry.

The Clinton campaign worked with their supoerdelgates to decide when to contact the AP and let them know they had gone over the top.

That is painfully obvious.

The precincts are ghost towns on election day because 60% of the voters have already cast the ballot by mail
