2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary was going to win, possibly tomorrow, but that wasn't good enough?
I sure hope Trump crashes and burns and Hillary easily defeats him, because I'm afraid she's seriously put off a ton of people when she didn't have to.
Congrats Hill People. I hope the one extra day was worth it, but I guess they had to try to keep California from voting.

(3,473 posts)You know that the press is always trying to one up each other with scoops, don't you?
It's no secret that Secretary Clinton was going to be the Presumptive Nominee. Even the people in their #BernieBubble realize it, even if they want to deny it. Being that it wasn't any secret and the list of Superdelegates wasn't any secret and the list of SDs that hadn't committed yet wasn't any secret ... would it surprise anyone to find out that the press would have been constantly calling these SDs, trying to get the scoop on the competition?
So stop blaming Secretary Clinton or her supporters for this, without some damn airtight proof.

(9,385 posts)what I realized a while back: notwithstanding a carefully crafted image, Hillary isn't very bright. She memorizes well, that's about her only asset. As we have seen, her judgement sucks.
So she will continue to do things like this, that are unnecessary and damaging.
