This is America, and we're just a wee bit behind the rest of the entire world in this regard.

I would have rather had someone like Elizabeth Warren, but I am still excited about making a new crack in the glass ceiling, and will be excited if we shatter it in the fall.

Even though I was all in for Obama in 2008, when Hillary conceded I felt a little sad, especially when she talked about how just because she fell short, she didn't want other women to think they couldn't go all the way.

Won and was going against a male DNC person should people elect her because she would be first women? Why did you all not vote for McCain/Palin in 2008 to elect the first Women VP? Voting because someone is a women is such a lame thing to even mention. Person gender should not be used to say someone is worth voting for.

The fact she is a woman is a glorious bonus. There is nothing anyone can say that will dilute my absolute joy today.

13. Hold up a minute on the vagina-blaming. I didn't vote for McCain in 08, and neither did Hillary's..

... other female supporters, just to get a vagina in the White House, OBVIOUSLY. Because, you know, it's not about her vagina, as much as demographic factors suggest that Hillary support is higher among women.

Had we instead voted for the first Jewish major political party nominee, and he clinched the pledged delegates needed for a majority last night, it would have been historic, too. And a post suggesting Jewish voters were voting purely because of their faith, or that Obama's black voters in 2008 would have been dumb enough to vote for Ben Carson had Obama lost in 2008 just because they wanted a black President regardless of that person's qualifications and ideas.... well, it would have been hidden.

Hillary Clinton is far more qualified, a far stronger leader on women's rights, and a much smarter woman than Palin or Fiorina. Had the CEO that ran my ex-company into the ground been the person to achieve this first, I would have cried. Just like I'm sure many would have cried had Ben Carson been our first black President instead of Barack Obama.

You certainly inferred, then argued against a premise no one has made. Bias often compels us to act irrationally.

I literally can't think of any reason to vote for her other than she isn't Trump. How inspiring.
