2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHillary totally crushed this primary season. Won all over the country, and won big.
Biggest swing states: Ohio and Florida. Both Hillary landslides.
Big liberal mainstay states: NY and CA. Huge wins for Hillary.
She won the 9 of the 10 most populous states. The only one she lost was Michigan, which is ranked #10, and which she barely lost. She also won 13 out of the 15 most populous. The other was the WA caucus, where she later won the primary.
She won a big majority of delegates from both open and closed primaries. The only format where Bernie had an edge was caucuses, which are the least Democratic.
Popular vote by over 3 million.
Pledged delegate lead by close to 400.
Extremely convincing and impressive win. This was not a close election.
