The weight of the PTB is huge. Its fingers everywhere manipulating all that it can to ensure its power is not constrained.

It has always been that way. The royals have always known that in order to keep power they must hold down anyone who seeks to share power. Democracy is best served when the populace is educated, informed and active. Royalty is best served when few hold all the power.

The opposition to Bernie is not democracy, it is royalty seeking to keep power. Bernie's goal was to share power and his campaign of hope for change was a sign of democracy at its best. For now, democracy is beaten and bloody. For now.

But you have to give Sanders credit for running a better than expected campaign. Hope he continues in someway to shape legislation. We need it.
