Bernie, but of course, it's hard to keep up with the he's a Democrat, he's not a Democrat, he's a Democrat pendulum so maybe you don't consider him a Democrat.

And I am sick and tired of being told that Bernie supporters will be blamed for a President Trump.

"Four Trump allies and one Clinton associate familiar with the exchange said that Clinton encouraged Trump’s efforts to play a larger role in the Republican Party and offered his own views of the political landscape.

Clinton’s personal office in New York confirmed that the call occurred in late May, but an aide to Clinton said the 2016 race was never specifically discussed and that it was only a casual chat. "

I have not heard one legitimate and knowledgeable mainstream media source predict that Clinton will win in a landslide. It is much too early for any prediction to be taken seriously.
Trump is the nominee because he won more primaries and caucuses than his opponents. Clinton is the nominee because she won 33 caucuses and primaries to Sanders' 23.

It seems like you're blaming President Bill Clinton for Donald Trump's candidacy. I'm fairly certain that Mr. Trump does pretty much anything he wants to, based on watching him since the 1980's.

Or is your observation about President Clinton's wife?

Perhaps you could expand on your thoughts.

According to the breathless the Big Dog and The Trumpster had a phone conversation and when DT said he wanted to run for POTUS, Bill Clinton told him to go for it.

Various sources deny it. Trash press reports it as fact.

What amazes me is that lefties who don't like either of the Clintons are frothing at how Macchiavellian they are!!!!!11!

Meanwhile, Trump is ripping the GOP apart. The Grand Old Party actually may not even survive the Trump experience.

If I really believed the rumor, I'd want to shake Bill's hand, not kick his wife in the shins.

It is apparently not true but if it were, damn, what a genius Bill would be. Trump is the nightmare of the Republican party who could have an effect for generations. His support from the Rep leader in the House is very soft, the Rep leader in the Senate hates him and Republicans in moderate states will be running away from him.
Brilliant work. MVP!

The blame will lie with the American public - those who voted for him, those who stayed home, and those who threw away their vote in support of some nonviable candidate.

Think voting for Nader in 2000, the genius who said that there's not a dime's worth of difference between Gore and GWB.

Decided that contesting the election would lead to a weakened Presidency no matter who won in the end. It's why the Democratic Senators certified the Florida election results and refused to let any member of the Congressional Black Caucus speak out against it. I believe as VP Gore could have allowed (is it recognized?) a member of the CBC and allowed them to speak as well, he did not. Any full recount of Florida would have lead to a Gore victory.

I despise what the republicans are. The only "praise" I have for them is that they won't give up. Unfortunately it's always shit that hurts America and Americans that they won't give up on, but they are tenacious. I don't think snarl or * would have blushed at all over making a (in Gore's case) legitimate grab for power.

or corruption in politics. The same people who demonstrate unprecedented hostility toward potential voters, censoring their presence online just like in the polls.

We would have to be INSANE to support someone who has demonstrated OPEN HOSTILITY toward us by attempting to force us out of our right to representation. We would have to be fucking nuts.

So don't burn out too many brain cells trying to figure out why people don't support the premature inevitable coronation, because this election has been truly un-American and un-democratic.

It is understandable to volley insults back and forth--but to interfere with an election will give the Clintons a legacy they will never live down.
