Bernie took time out to try for a photo op at the Vatican, but ...

... he didn't have time to stand with his fellow Senators in the filibuster for gun control, because he was preparing for his boring live feed non-concession speech.

He sent a tweet instead.

That's leadership!

Which is it?

God, it's like a sewing bee at times. The pettiness is astonishing.

The mental splitting that some are going through is quite astonishing.

One minute, Sanders is a media hound, just out to grab the spotlight at all costs.
The next minute, he's not telling other senators to stand down, because he is more important than they are.

The filibuster was successful, with the scheduled senators at hand.
Some here just seem to think that the senators who speak just run up to the podium, ad hoc.

The fauxrage that the Hillary campaign spews has always been contradictory. The problem is that people have short attention spans and whatever the current fauxrage meme is the truth and nothing prior matters. Kinda of like how Hillary herself has changed positions when it suits her.

Remember when Hillary supporters lost their minds that The Papal Office invited Senator Sanders to speak at the Vatican Economic Conference. I read comments on DU calling Bernie a liar, he begged to be invited, will not be allowed to speak at Conference, accused him of stalking Pope Francis & he will not meet with the Pope. Of course all their lies, attacks were proven false & thoroughly debunked.

U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders was invited to speak at an April 15 Vatican event by the Vatican, a senior papal official said on Friday, denying a report that Sanders had invited himself.

"I deny that. It was not that way," Monsignor Marcelo Sanchez Sorondo told Reuters in a telephone interview while he was traveling in New York. Sorondo, a close aide to Pope Francis, is chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, which is hosting the event.

He said it was his idea to invite Sanders.

A Bloomberg report quoted Margaret Archer, president of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, as saying that Sanders had broken with protocol by failing to contact her office first.

"This is not true and she knows it. I invited him with her consensus," said Sorondo, who is senior to Archer.

An invitation to Sanders dated March 30, which was emailed to Reuters, was signed by Sorondo and also included Archer's name.

He's said himself he wanted access to the bigger platform that running as a Democrat would give him. He got it and now he thinks it's more important to livestream himself speaking to a camera even though there are no more electoral contests left than to show up at his day job and lend a hand to the team that he chose to join.

Hillary won - or didn't you hear?

She's running against Trump not Bernie anymore.

You need to channel your energies and hate toward Trump and the Repugs now and get over the Dem Primary.

If all the Hillary supporters - like yourself - channeled their cute quips and cuts about Bernie towards Trump and the Repugs - Hillary will win by a landslide and we can probably give her the Senate and the House to boot.

Get over Bernie - he lost and he knows it.

Put yourself to serving your presumptive nominee now and use your posts here on DU and in social media to wipe out Trump and the Repugs. Please!!!!!!!
