(1,999 posts)Caucuses are what allowed him to be a nationally relevant candidate at all, so they're good despite being textbook voter suppression. After all, the people whose votes were suppressed by caucuses mostly wouldn't have voted for Bernie.

(145,839 posts)Like the resolution adopted in Texas, this resolution is meaningless unless the DNC decides to change the rules which is not likely. Super delegates are provided for in DNC and each states' Delegate Selection Plan. The DNC has absolute approval of each states Delegate Selection Plan and I doubt that super delegates are going to be eliminated.
