(35 posts)On the Late Show tonight, Sanders said emphatically that he WILL NOT ENDORSE HILLARY CLINTON. Then he engaged in the tired attempt to rationalize his failure to acquiesce; as is the protocol.
How does Bernie expect anyone to take him seriously when he isn't even willing to operate within the framework of the predefined process. A process that was ostensibly familiar to all participants. If not, I believe you can really only blame your staff of your self.

I cannot understand how Bernie can think showing up at the DNC convention as the technical loser in this contest and proceed to somehow perpetrate some sort of referendum coup d'état.
This doesn't even make sense politically, in fact. Divide and conquer applied to an already divided constituency can only result in further fractioning. Not an example of campaigning to unite. And Bernie said or implied that he's essentially engaged in private talks which he implied involved basically attempting a quid quo pro involving free college tuition.
I seriously hope and expect that Clinton will not adopt a bad policy like this just to secure support from Bernie's "support." I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole.
This really appears to be a sort of infiltration or, in a more dramatic vernacular, hijacking. This is a nasty tactic and really sad, I think.

(23,539 posts)endorse Hillary. I thought he implied in time he will at endorse her later and he said he is talking with her. I didn't hear anger when he discussed her. I heard some disappointment in his own campaign and that he knows he will not be president.

(35 posts)Yeah. Sort of, but not literally. I'm not a damned fan, expressly. I just borrowed his moniker especially for this site. I hope I don't fall short.

(35,619 posts)...one of the happiest moments of the campaign was talking to 28,000 people in a stadium in Portland, Oregon.
One of the saddest was talking to parents in Flint, Michigan whose kids were brain-damaged by lead in the water.
