It's all about the votes. And I would guess that voting rates are inversely proportional to Twitter use.

because, according to those numbers he is losing by a large margin. The data isn't a binary choice between the 2, it just states the volume of tweets. Based on that volume he has a 1 to 1 positive versus negative while Clinton has a 2 to 1 positive versus negative.
