2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumI am again appealing to you great researchers.
In the last oh say 12 months, how many white people have been killed by police officers in this country....and how many black people killed the same way?
I see lots of statistics about black on white crime, black on black crime, but this one seems most significant to me.
Thanks if you can help me.

(10,749 posts)They have an ongoing count. The short answer, I believe, is that more whites than blacks have been killed. But the raw data needs far more analysis.
For example:
What are demographics of white/black/other population where civilians were killed.
What were circumstances, eg, crime in progress vs traffic stop.
Which events were genuinely legitimate use of force?
Rural/urban?
