Here's the legal framework that Mitt Romney's battalion are going to utilize, to Dump Trump, so that the ( likely to be totally chaotic) Republican National Convention can nominate Willard Mitt Romney, to be the GOP general national election - candidate.

11. If that was true the Stop Trump people wouldn't be trying to get a majority on the rules committee

This decision to unbind the delegates is up to the rules committee, period. Trump is going to be the nominee, not Mitt Romney and I don't know why some people keep pushing this idea. If that happened, Mitt Romney would get decimated in the general election, because far-right conservatives would sit on account of having their votes in the primary ignored.
