People had a hard time with Bernie, not because of his ideas, but because of all the trolls that hit DU and started in trashing the other candidates. When it got down to just Bernie and Hillary, it got even worse. I know Bernie shouldn't have gotten the blame for those rude trolls, but between their rants, and their gaming the jury system to take out those who weren't with them, it was hard to not link Bernie with them.

I am glad Bernie has come on board to unite the party, and look forward to him on the trail with the others.

though I was inclined to think Hillary would be a better candidate in a general and a more effective president. I really never had strong opinions about either one of them, so I avoided the primaries debates.

There's simply no way on earth that ANYTHING on his agenda, or ANY of his pet causes, would see the light of day in a Trump administration. No way ANY of those ideas would have a chance in Hell. As a matter of fact, any and all of his ideas, as set out here at this moment would be severely set back, and the clock TURNED back, as far back as the CONS can push it.

Hillary Clinton is the ONLY thing that stands between all of us and a Donald Trump presidency. Let's ALL stand with her! Bernie certainly is doing that now. He understands this very well, I suspect.

Bernie's speech today was just his stump speech with "Hillary understands" stapled onto it. These are the things he's been campaigning on since the beginning, and it's why so many people voted for him.

.

When he was going through police training, the instructor would get angry at him, because he could never set him off.

Then, then the instructor yelled at him because he wouldn't get mad, asking him why.

When he said that getting angry causes one to lose their focus, the instructor lost his shit and ordered several other trainees to push him into a nearby pond. Which turned out to be a big mistake, even thought he didn't hurt them, just pushed them away each time.

WAY too far. Bernie has always been a good, honest man. He fought for all of us like hell, and now that he lost, he will do the same for Hillary.

The things Dems said about him made me leave her and the Daily Kos for a while, and really dislike my fellow Dems. Oh, ye, of little faith, I always knew Bernie would do the right thing.
