and that it was already starting. Plus, I almost thought the other two guests were going to get up and knock him out. They can't even try and hide it.

So much ammunition.

His ancestors were doing human sacrifices in peat bogs while Africa and Asia were developing sophisticated cultures. Western Civilization borrows much from their contribution. This can be seen from the Durant's Our Oriental Heritage - the first volume on Western Civilization.

Someone please upload this to YouTube. I could barely believe what I was watching. Had to back up the TiVo and listen again. Is this 1929?

He said, "This whole business does get a little tired though, Charlie (referring to Charles Pierce), I ask you to go back to your history and figure out where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you're talking about, where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?"

Chris Hayes asks King, "Then white people?"

King says, "Then western civilization itself, that's rooted in Western Europe, Eastern Europe and the United States of America and every place where the the footprint of Christianity settled the world, that's all of western civilization."

Then chaos ensued with everyone talking over everyone else.

King is an ugly racist POS.

I went back and transcribed from my PVR so it should be accurate.

so quickly, and was dismissed so quickly, I wondered if I'd heard it wrong.

Chris Hayes should have let the others respond to King. He just dismissed it and went to commercial.

I thought he said, I was horrified even before I went back and listened in order to transcribe it.

I totally agree, Hayes should have let the others respond, they were as horrified as we were. The media just refuses to let the issue of racism be confronted and instead go into a panic mode and cut to a commercial. Had Chris come back and extended his segment in order to give the others the opportunity to respond it would have been much better for him and MSNBC, imo.

He's the cantaloupe asshole

King said of undocumented immigrants, "For every one who's a valedictorian, there's another 100 out there who weigh 130
pounds—and they've got calves the size of cantaloupes because they're hauling 75 pounds of marijuana across the desert."
