2. I bet he is. Trump's minions emerge.

No matter how much of a beating we give Trump in November (and I believe we will), the damage he's done of empowering and providing a platform for people who'd ONLY JUST LEARNED that casual blatant racism/sexism/bigotry isn't acceptable in normal society will remain. These people are mean, they're violent, they're often heavily armed, and they hate everyone who isn't exactly like they are. And now they think the majority of America agrees with them, or at least will accept this behaviour.

The media is more responsible for this than Trump. By legitimising him, treating him like a normal candidate and providing a 24/7 platform for his hateful rhetoric, they have normalised this behaviour. People aren't even flinching anymore. They should all take a good hard look in the mirror and contemplate what they've allowed, what they've created.
