Let's say the FSB bugged Judge Gonzalo Curiel's home.

And at one point during dinner with his family, he makes some comment about Trump's racist attacks on his heritage.

I wonder if the same people attacking DWS for her private communications while ignoring the fact that Russia is trying to influence American elections, would suddenly insist that Curiel recuse himself from the Trump University lawsuit because of a private comment he made that was illegally leaked by Russian state operatives.

1. 2 different issues.

1. Hacking is a crime & should be treated as such.

2. If the judge is breaking judicial protocol or rules his rulings should be up for review by his his peers. I thought that a judge's bias matters only if their rulings come up for review & bias can be proven by those rulings.

Atm, we should drop all discussion of this and support our nominee. dws should lose her chairmanship and move on. Let's win the election, the supreme court, and then let dnc heads roll after proper review.

I want this to go away as an issue because the longer the media dwell on it, the worst for the Democratic party.

Own the mistake and fix it is the most forgivable, honorable resolution. No whiney bullshit. Own it. Fix it.

2. What mistake? Letting the Russians hack in? OK, yeah, that was a mistake.

Whoever is in charge of computer security should be fired.

The other is more of a conduct issue. If your charter demands impartiality, shut your fucking mouth during working hours or whenever and conduct yourself in a manner that assures confidence in the system.

On edit: okay i think these operatives should be fired for being idiots. You have an opinion? Talk to your colleagues. No one said they aren't entitled to their biases. You dont go sprouting this shit off on record by email. You don't fantacize about how to undermine a democratic candidate. FULL. STOP. EVERY fucking idiot knows that. Fire ther asses.

4. There was impartiality. The charter doesn't require that you don't express opinions in private

communications. It just demands impartiality in the nomination process, which there was. This whole thing is ridiculous. It's like someone sent an email joking about Bernie's tie and not everyone is up in arms about it.

6. They were fantacizing ways of bolstering HRC's chances.

Expressing bias is one thing... Batting about stupid fucking schemes about SBS' religion or athiesm is FUCKING UNETHICAL.

Idiots put it in email which also makes them extraordinarily stupid so lose them!

All that matters are their actions.

Besides, it seems like the emails were from late in the campaign when Hillary had already won, for all practical purposes. They are the DNC, it makes sense that they would be looking for ways to help her beat Trump.

12. No. Obviously that is NOT all that matters.

There will be a review of these developments and I'm hoping the dnc suffers no further damage to its rep.

So some nasty pos in the dnc fanticizes using personal BELIEFS against a candidate & this kind of slippery bigotry will play well with WHAT minority religious group? Muslims? Jewish? American Indian? Hindu? Buddhist? Shinto? Orthodox? Hey if belief becomes fair game to score cheap points in the polls... Maybe you should be questioning what the fuck we stand for.

How can you trust a honest broker, like the dnc SHOULD have been conducting themselves, when they act every bit as unethically as the rnc. Or white supremacists?

You know, i would not have had a problem if the dnc told SBS he could not run as a Democrat and then conducted itself ethically. Under dws, the dnc opened itself to well deserved scruitiny.

13. It's all that matters from the ethical perspective.

There weren't any unethical actions, all there were were some dumb things that people said in emails. People say dumb things all the time.

Of course, there's going to be political fallout. That's what happens when emails get hacked. The stupid things people say become public. The lesson is that email is not secure, and if you want to say something dumb, say it in person.

The people at the DNC who CLEARLY showed bias, namely the ones who sought to use Senator Sanders being Jewish AGAINST him, need to go. DWS needs to step down, as her remaining damages the party.

Mind you, I was all for leaving DWS alone, but not after this.

Did I expect preference among Dems for Hillary? You bet I did. She's been a Dem her entire adult life. She's worked HARD for this. So yes, I expected a preference amongst the Democratic base, and she has that, fully.

By the same token, the former Sanders supporters who've gone Green need to ALSO be shown the door. By that I mean people such as Cornel West.

Or the difference between HRC and the gop... Fuck them.

I supported SBS and i fully support HRC without "holding my nose" or some shit nonsense like that. She is honorable and so is SBS.

The dnc needs overhaul. And they need to understand their position in our party. They have a right to their opinions and no right to sabotage any candidate or even entertain strategies that don't involve beating the gop.

From what I've seen so far (yes, I've been doing much reading of the emails too). Only a few were actually something which need to be dealt with. I do hope they are dealt with swiftly, as there is no place in our party for bigotry of any kind. Whether it's race or religion.
