2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumDoes anyone have a compiled list of these email leaks...
That supposedly show favoritism?
Not interested in combing through 30,000 boring emails.

(19,877 posts)A Democratic woman who survived breast cancer and worked her way up the ladder can't show her face at our convention because it will hurt the losing candidates fans feelings.

(6,551 posts)I'm with you on this. DWS has made mistakes, but she's worked long and hard over many years for the Democratic Party. I'm glad that Hillary released a strong statement thanking her for her work and acknowledging her contributions to the party, and her future work for the Clinton campaign.
I hope she attends the convention and is recognized for all she's done for the party. I'd wager that the large majority of the delegates will show their appreciation for her work.

(8,541 posts)"On Friday, Wikileaks published an email exchange between Western Regional Communicators Director for the Democratic Party Walter Garcia and DNC Communications Director Luis Miranda, in which Miranda requests an article critical of Bernie Sanders be covertly shared, without attribution to the DNC.
The article, by Nevada political reporter Jon Ralston, pushed a narrative that Bernie Sanders supporters were becoming violent and out of control and that Sanders was partly responsible."

(8,541 posts)But the question I have is. What is DWS's title? Does she have any responsibility for the position she holds?
The criticism seems fair to me.

(53,475 posts)... Hillary's campaign and "they" when referring to Bernie's is quite telling.
JaneyVee
(19,877 posts)It was constantly "we" vs "they".

(51,666 posts)Why the need to continue to insult Bernie and his supporters?
This exact sort of thing is why I left for the better part of a year.

(16,954 posts)other campaign's framing of issues that pretty much reflect what you just said. My response to the Admins was with that explanation and the obvious spamming of this non-issue that is going on now. The day before the convention, and this non-issue is non-stop spam here....hmmm.

(3 posts)Actually as more and more info comes out, it looks even worse. In one email Schulze referred to Sanders as a liar. Supposedly? Really? LOL

(19,877 posts)Just the normal strategy bullshit on vetting donors and how to defeat Trump. Even the "mocking" one comes across as a joke. These people are co-workers. Of course the wikileaks headlines make them seem worse than they are because wikileaks is a rightwing foreign propaganda outfit.

(8,541 posts)But what about when the DNC or DWS supports a Republican over a Democrat? That's what I disapprove of
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)Made it seem like they were breaking them.
And the DNC "controlling the media", that is ridiculous. Sanders got more and better treatment in the press.
NWCorona
(8,541 posts)I have to much to much on my plate to compile a list like that.

(47,209 posts)For instance someone asks them to "pull" a videotape and transcript from a segment on TV so they can view it- but their wording sounds like the asked the station to "pull" it off the air. That's a deliberate misrepresentation, and a RW smear.
You should delete that crap.

Another one all edging their control the media.
Another one accusing them of trying to violate the Hatch Act when the opposite was true.
You should delete that crap. It's RW bullshit.

From:FreundlichC@dnc.org To: Comm_D@dnc.org Date: 2016-05-18 18:27 Subject: Video Request: msnbc right now
Can we pull the commentary segment right now on msnbc? Talking about the DNC and the relationship between the DNC and the Clinton campaign With rush transcript please once it wraps up. Christina Freundlich DNC Deputy National Press Secretary
How does that conflict with the description?

(47,209 posts)They are somehow pulling strings at the network. They meet with them no doubt, as part of their job.
Somehow they should not be watching the newsordiscussing things with journalists? Seriously?
What a bunch of nothing designed to make angry idiots even angrier.Shameful.
