I don't know what they're showing on TV but

inside the hall this feels very much like the conventions I attended in 2004 and 2012. There's a lot of energy in the room, people are having a good time.

The disruptions from earlier have pretty much faded into the background...

turn his back on Sarah Silverman. PBS focused on it briefly. Silverman's doing a great job.

Hardly any boos coming through that aren't for Trump and his ilk. Some of the commenters are trying to paint it as a huge mass of discord, but Mark Shields has been basically pointing out how full of shit they are, and shutting them down.

The chanting was distracting in the beginning, but I think they are starting to listen.

Cory Booker is doing an outstanding job. He knows it is the speech of his life, and he is going for it!
