Bernie will always be My Main Mensch
Clinton will have my vote, but Bernie once again proved last night why he is the best thing to happen to politics (IMO) in 30 years.
And despite the stereotype of him as a shallow ideologue, he also showed that he is as politically smart in a pragmatic sense, as Obama and Bill Clinton.
We have been in the slowly boiling lobster pot since 1980. Bernie is one of the few Democrats who actually tried to warn we lobsters that the water was heating up while it was still only warm in the 90's. But he was ignored and marginalized for decades -- DECADES!
I've known that Bernie has had our back since the 1990's, while too many other Dems were selling us out with a cheery smile.
He IS the ONE who brought the awful truth into the public square, as well as the Hope that We Can Do Better.
Without Bernie, we'd still all be stuck with nothing but the Wall Street/Big Business/Big Media Bullshit as the entire political "debate" while the water continues to boil.
Bernie has made a difference. Last night he once again showed us, as another post pointed out, what a Mensch is.
