2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumHow many of you are between 40 and 60 have kids at home and work full time?
I'm curious. That's all.
I am wondering how many DUers are juggling a very full life and still have the time and energy to post on the DU.
Partly I'm curious. Partly the question is because for some time now I see a lot of posts regarding the news ping of the day as they are happening rather than in depth discussions of major issues. I remember when the latter used to be the majority of posts - and also wonder what the demographic is now on DU where people actually have the time to discuss the little news pings every day as they are happening.
This is NOT a compliant on the status of DU. Just acknowledging the change and wondering about our core user.
Thanks to all.
Robb is included because my sister loved voting for you always.

(23,720 posts)I see,
no- I'm semi retired. I go out and make extra money prviding a service to others. My my kid and his GF live here full time and work full time and both are broke the Monday after payday. Am I enabling them a little? Yes, but I feel they should do some living before they're to old and broken down to experience things I never got a chance to because of work.
