How can that even fucking happen? I mean its a week later and he still hasn't bothered to learn who Hillary's running mate is? FFS you'd think that if they were going to pick an asshole business person with no compassion or empathy at least they could find one who does his homework and is somewhat competent.

He can't be bothered to read books or pay attention for more than a few minutes.

After sitting for only a few minutes in his suit and tie, Trump became impatient and irritable. He looked fidgety, Schwartz recalls, “like a kindergartner who can’t sit still in a classroom.” Even when Schwartz pressed him, Trump seemed to remember almost nothing of his youth, and made it clear that he was bored. Far more quickly than Schwartz had expected, Trump ended the meeting.

Week after week, the pattern repeated itself. Schwartz tried to limit the sessions to smaller increments of time, but Trump’s contributions remained oddly truncated and superficial.

“Trump has been written about a thousand ways from Sunday, but this fundamental aspect of who he is doesn’t seem to be fully understood,” Schwartz told me. “It’s implicit in a lot of what people write, but it’s never explicit—or, at least, I haven’t seen it. And that is that it’s impossible to keep him focussed on any topic, other than his own self-aggrandizement, for more than a few minutes, and even then . . . ” Schwartz trailed off, shaking his head in amazement. He regards Trump’s inability to concentrate as alarming in a Presidential candidate. “If he had to be briefed on a crisis in the Situation Room, it’s impossible to imagine him paying attention over a long period of time,” he said.

Unlike Trump, I was able to read that entire article with ease.

Here's another long article featuring other former biographers. They're not quite as negative about Trump, but there's still a pattern. They confirmed his extreme narcissism and that he gets angry when his BS is corrected, among other things. I keep waiting for Trump to have a public meltdown during the debates!

Blair: Whenever I went to interview him, I always felt like a failure, because he would never say anything. It would just be blather. He would say how great he was, and then I would then get more blather. And that is how he talks on the campaign trail. People always ask me, “Is that how he really is?”

Hurt: Yeah, that’s how he really is.

O’Brien: When you hold his feet to the fire on a fact pattern, he does not handle it well. You saw this a little bit in one of the debates, when the Fox host started putting slides up on him. He melted. He actually looked like he was melting.
