For the convention activities, I watch only CSPAN from gavel to gavel.

Jesse Jackson spoke about 6:15 and I didn't see any thread about it so I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't bother breaking away for even that.

It works for sports.

I hate sports events where they interview the manager or coach instead of showing the action. (Admittedly in baseball, the only way to ensure action is to cut away for an interview.)
