Jeff Weaver was just on CNN talking about the convention.

He played down the protests, saying it was just a small percentage of Bernie's delegates. Jeff's message is loud and clear: I'm with her. Senator Sanders is with her. A large majority of our delegates are with her.

Hillary Clinton, by far, is the most capable, qualified candidate. A Trump-Pence administration would be an unmitigated disaster for this country.

While I do think Weaver truly believes in Sanders and is loyal to him, they are nothing alike. Weavers stock went up as an advisor/manager and he knows the Clintons can elevate you.

whereas Tad Devine is a career political adviser/strategist who has had many clients, Jeff Weaver has never done anything like this before, and he's only doing it because the candidate was Bernie. That's what makes what he said today such a big deal.

I was glad to see Mr. Weaver tonight. He's passionate, and hopefully he'll continue to do outreach to help bridge any divides.
