She's been up in VA in every other poll I would imagine she's leading thre especially after this khan thing and dnc etc we need to see other new VA state polls but that is very weird I'm not sure about that considering they are contradicting each other

Since we got rid of it and went to cell only we have had zero calls to be polled. I think this has a lot to do with the unreliability of the polls.

Does anyone else think this has anything to do with the polls being so strange?

There are outlier polls now and again. If they are way off compared to others I just write 'em off.

I've thought so for a long time. I have a landline, but I never answer phone calls from people I don't know. Most of the young people I know rely entirely on their cell phones. Who is polling them? I don't know how you can get half way accurate polling numbers these days.

If I needed a cell phone I wasn't going to pay for both of them. We saved 60 dollars a month getting rid of the land line.

I don't think any of the polls are accurate because of that.

and the only reason I have a landline is because it is an inexpensive Internet phone line. We often have problems with reception here with our cell phones. I would never answer either phone if I didn't know who it was. That is what voice mail is for.

Hardly anyone answers their phones if they don't know who it is. Texts they'd be more likely to answer.

but people could resent that as well. I used to take part in polls online, but I haven't participated in any of those in a long time. I am quite there is a big segment of society that is not being included and it is more likely the more moderate to liberal people.

I don't get the poll navel gazing. They vary, some firms are good nationally and terrible in individual states. The opposite is true as well. Never get caught up in an individual poll result.

I looked at the polling dates for both the ge poll and the Virginia poll. The Virginia polling was done the July 26 and 27, the ge poll July 29. Perhaps that may explain some of the apparent discrepancy if Clinton was trending upward over that few day period. Also the news of the DNC email hack had just come out just before the convention.
