Trump: Florida gov. probably has Zika 'under control'

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump commended Florida Gov. Rick Scott for how he is dealing with cases of the Zika virus in Florida.

"You have a great governor who's doing a fantastic job, Rick Scott, on the Zika and it's a problem, it's a big problem," Trump said in an interview with CBS12 in West Palm Beach.

"But I watch and I see and I see what they're doing ... and I think he's doing a fantastic job and he's letting everyone know exactly what the problem is and how to get rid of it," the GOP nominee continued.

"He's going to have it under control. He probably already does."

Would it be in poor taste for someone to photoshop Trump with a tiny head? Would make his hands look normal size.

And my job, while a professional one, depends on tourism.

I am going to start making phone calls tomorrow and sending emails to my elected Democratic officials. We have a chance to drive a stake in the beast right now on this issue.

Florida is scared to death of this virus. It has the possibility of wrecking our economy. The UK has already issued travel warnings for the entire state. The CDC has for South Florida.

Trump is clueless. If we can get some statewide ads on this aired in the next 2 weeks Florida can be insured to go Democratic. The virus is breaking out of the perimeter that our underfunded officials are trying to put around it.

And of course, since the republicans are all misogynist at heart, they underestimate the fear this strike in women of child bearing age.

The republican congress refused at allocate additional funds for it and Trump says it is under control. The stupid just hurts.

And Trump endorsing someone and their policy direction is completely worthless.
