2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumwho are coulter and limbaugh fooling? they're probably glad obama won.
let's be real. they are known for saying maleficent things about democrats, liberals, or anyone else who doesn't fit their mould for their ideal, horrible america. their stage is as big as the power the democrats have is, as when there are less democratic things to talk about, they get less attention.
with obama winning, ann coulter will have day after day of obama to criticize. limbaugh will get a boost in audience because people are turning anywhere someone will say "obama is bad." if romney won, ann would have to at least pretend to be happy for a year or so before she started calling romney on this and that. even then, much of her audience would disagree. the nature of obama winning means limbaugh and other conservative pundit media outlets (hannity et al.) will be flooded with viewers and listeners.
they flourish on hate, and it's harder to make hate for democrats when the president is republican. i don't believe for a second that any of them are really that upset. obama winning is a four-year cash advance for most of them. they're probably writing lines already.
