11/7am freepress: Vote totals for Obama and Romney inexplicably decreasing in three Ohio counties

For anyone interested in the Rove behavior, who knows but this was reported Wednesday morning.

Vote totals for Obama and Romney inexplicably decreasing in three Ohio counties

by Free Press staff
November 7, 2012
Election monitors are reporting funny numbers coming out of Clark, Columbiana, and Hamilton counties (Ohio). Two of these counties are listed in Ohio Secretary of State Directive 2012-49 as participating in the Secretary of State’s ENR (Election Night Reporting) Pilot Project. The most disturbing numbers are in Clark County where the computers seem to be subtracting numbers from vote totals early in the evening.

What’s currently happening at 12:23am fits the familiar pattern of election theft in Florida in 2000 and Ohio in 2004. Here’s the scenario: the exit polls are predicting a Democratic win. The state is called and projected for the Democrat. Suddenly, after 11pm, Karl Rove emerges with supposed “magic numbers” saying “not so fast. I’ve got our own numbers on the ground.” Then what happens is that the projected Democratic victory disappears and numbers that fall outside the margin of error of the exit polls are accepted.

So instead of scrutinizing the cyber election voting system for fraud, the unbelievable numbers become the official numbers, and the exit poll numbers are adjusted to meet the improbable political outcomes. That’s what’s happening right now.

Election results have fluctuated throughout the evening:

8:48pm:
25,333- Obama
25,760- Romney

9:15pm
6165- Obama
5647-Romney

Maybe it's primarily because of tons of suppression, but whatever the means, lots of Obama votes were lost. Luckily his margin ended up being big enough to overcome it.

Senator Kerry would be just about THE subject-matter-expert on election fraud in that state, right?

He went there last week after that announcement about the SoS loading that suspicious software patch into selected systems and I was trying to find out how long he stayed. I saw that he went to some union rallies, but, aside from that, I was wondering what the Republicans might have thought of his arrival in the state, just when they were preparing to hijack another election.

First of all, it's not clear if those numbers given are exit polls, or votes.

Secondly, were those "8:48pm" and "9:15pm" numbers for Clark County alone, or Clark, Columbiana, and Hamilton? Where did they come from - an Ohio government site, a press release, a phone call to the counters, or what?

20. Rove ...
Thu Nov 8, 2012, 10:42 AM
Nov 2012

I'm am as convinced as ever that the whole stall charade on Fox with Rove was about hoping that it all came down to Florida and Ohio. I truly think Rove was trying to hold off the call on re-election in the hopes that Virginia and Colorado and Iowa went Romney (or close enough to call ties). Had that happened, I think the GOP would have gone all out to claim there was no legitimate way to call the election that night.

I believe they hoped to contest Florida and Ohio if the votes were close (RECOUNT! LAWYERS!), and then they could do the same thing they did in 2000: Bully the Democrats into giving up.

I'm not usually big on conspiracies, but that's what I suspect. I think he was hoping against hope that the clusterfuckery of Florida and Ohio could tie things up long enough to either (1) swing the election to Romney through recounts or the Supreme Court; or (2) cast the Obama victory as illegitimate to ensure he could get nothing done for the next four years.

It's really terrifying to think about, because it could have worked. Thank God people answered the call to stay in line and vote, and thank God Virginia, Colorado and Iowa came through (along with all the other swings). I just hope that this time, with this great victory on the backs of Hispanics/women/African-Americans/unions/young voters, etc., can be used to rev up those same voters and remind them that we need to come out in off years as well or lose all the gains we make in presidential years.

OH still has a large number of provisional ballots and absentee ballots that arrived after the election to count (OH law says they can only be counted starting Nov 17). FL has still not finished counting and the margin is small.

believe that is was not working this time. Is it possible that the Dems knew it too and did something to prevent it. If they knew from last time but could not prove it, they still might have been able to stop the flip program from working? I don't know how the software works or how the votes are transmitted to the SOS office but I kept thinking they were going to try it again. Karl's reaction says to me, he thought they had but for some reason it did not work!!

If they had software to change the vote between the actual totals and the communication to the SOS office and it did not work, he could not come out and claim fraud since they were the ones who were trying to commit the fraud in the first place.

First, because he won Ohio, so an investigation of voting processes and irregularities would not be sour grapes;

Second, because he doesn't ever have to run again, and;

Third, because he won without Ohio, so the results are really irrelevant to his election.

I have been the one of the foremost "Election Fraud" skeptics on this board. But Rove's behavior and this make me curious. Doesn't seem like a bad idea to get a couple of FEC guys supported by FBI down there for a little Q & A with Husted and some local officials.

Then Karl Rove came on the TV and basically said, “not so fast. I’ve got our own numbers on the ground.” The call was taken back and later on we found out about the butterfly ballots - and of course the exit polls showed Gore winning because people thought they had voted for Gore, only it was not recorded that way. Anyone who thinks the butterfly ballot was an honest mistake by election workers is either a Republican partisan or naive. Remember that Katherine Harris as SOS had to approve the ballot design of every county.

The other curiosity is that Anonymous warned him not to try to steal the election like he did before (see the other thread on that with video here) and the Columbus Free Press DUer said that they got the info about the patches via Wikileaks, which I guess essentially means Anonymous. So at a minimum we might conjecture that Obama would have won Ohio by a larger margin, the exit polls said 8%

I have been afraid that because the election was not that close the efforts to rig/suppress the vote would go ignored. They pulled this same crap in 2004 and it needs to be investigated.
