A question to which EVERYBODY knows the answer (except the Scalia 5)

The secret money PACS were required by law not to use over 50% of their resources for political activity. The rest was to be used for non-profit/charitable activity.

Now that the election is over, and the 2014 midterms are two years away--in the meantime, how many of these "organizations" will devote 100% of their time and resources to those non-profit and charitable activities?

Or, put another way, how many of them will still exist on Jan 2, 2013?

They'll exist as long as they can get money for their owners Anthony McCarthy Nov 2012 #1
Of course, "non-profit activity" and "charity" are stretchy, stretchy things. Scootaloo Nov 2012 #2

For the longer term, it's of the most importance to attack the intellectual foundations of Citizens United, Buckey vs. Valeo and corporate person hood. If Obama gets those Supreme Court nominations opposition to those should be one of the most important criteria for anyone he nominates. If I were president, I'd look for people on record on the issue and I'd ask them about it, in person. Real person to real person.

Given that the "citizens" in C.U. were hardly of, by and for The People, it's no wonder that the "non-profit charities" that it generated would be just as much of a fraud.

The Heritage Foundation and CATO institute are non-profits, and Saddleback Church takes donations.
