There is no bigger Trump cheerleader or intellectual fraud than Rudy Giuliani - Jennifer Rubin

Does Giuliani think we don’t remember all the times he agreed with the ‘insiders’?

By Jennifer Rubin August 9 at 2:56 PM

Jennifer Rubin writes the Right Turn blog for The Post, offering reported opinion from a conservative perspective.

Donald Trump’s juvenile communications staff, in response to a letter from 50 respected foreign policy advisers, snarled yesterday: “These insiders – along with Hillary Clinton – are the owners of the disastrous decisions to invade Iraq, allow Americans to die in Benghazi, and they are the ones who allowed the rise of ISIS.” That’s a harsh thing, isn’t it, to say about patriots like Rudy Giuliani, who wholeheartedly supported the George W. Bush administration and the war in Iraq?

There is no bigger Trump cheerleader or intellectual fraud than Rudy Giuliani. Consider his bio at the Council on Foreign Relations:

Giuliani has generally supported the Bush administration’s policies in response to the threat of terrorism. He has called for an “offense-as-a-defense” (Journal-Register) strategy towards al-Qaeda, backing the U.S. troop surge and continued presence in Iraq. . . .

Giuliani is a strong supporter of the war in Iraq, including Bush’s troop surge plan, but he says the plan needs some quantitative means by which to measure progress. “You need statistics,” (FOX) he said in January 2007. “You need to be able to determine whether or not you’ve brought the violence down. If it doesn’t work, then you got to put more people in.”

No matter how Trump screws up, and this is monumental, Giuliani defend him.

Guess his security business isn't doing so well.

He apparently needs a job in Trump's administration pretty bad.
