Anyone That Comes To Trump's Defense When He Makes Statements Like The 2A Comment....

today is just as bad as Trump himself and the fact that they are protecting Trump should embarrass them. Do they really want to associate themselves with this insanity?

And Trump makes this stupid comment one day after 50 national security experts say he is dangerous and not fit to be president.

Trump proved their point with this 2A statement.

They are going on national TV defending Trump's dog whistle to murder Clinton — no, it's way past a dog whistle, that was a loudspeaker suggestion.

Just as with Sharon Angle and her "Second Amendment remedy" comment in 2010, there is no mistaking what he meant.

could their hatred for Trump possibly be worse than their long-term hysterical hatred for Hillary?

The excuse was always, "you know what he meant... ". Stupid is as stupid does. The thought of having another stupid president makes me ill.

that many of his supporters liked him because they identified with faking it. Faking bravado, faking experience, faking knowledge, faking smarts, faking your way through a job, getting away with it. That one press conference where Bush made the joke about it being scripted--it was like an admission by a silver-spooned frat boy that he had just been appointed to pretend to be president and couldn't take it all too seriously.

Yes, I also can't stand the thought.

I despise Trump and am actively working to keep him out of office, but the whole thing could be off base and harping on it could help him. That is to say, it will only serve to solidify each camp, instead of possibly persuading potential Trump voters to abandon him.

But I won't explain unless you want me to--many people are extremely close-minded on the subject and I don't feel like being labeled as a defender of Trump by those engaged in knee-jerk reaction.

Maybe we should start requiring the results of a mental examination to be filed with the candidate committee papers....

This is no joke.

twisting the truth like a pretzel. I give credit to George Stephanopoulos for keeping a straight face throughout the interview.
