I think Collins is lying..I think she will vote for Trump. Otherwise

why would she give him the benefit of the doubt about yesterday's statement? I find it hard to believe that she does not think he is encouraging violence. I can see her talking about how dangerous he is for political reasons and then secretly voting for him.

Are you from Maine? I can tell Collins despises Trump. It would not be like her to support him. I think she secretly supports Hillary, but she hasn't publicly endorsed her.

Susan Collins' claim to fame is for being a "moderate."

Well, her mere presence in congress with an R behind her name encouraged her fellow fascists to try to fuck with our president's agenda for EIGHT years. . . I despise her AND her "moderate" reputation. I didn't hear dear Susan speak up when her party STOLE a presidential election, NOR did she speak up when her party went COMPLETELY off the rails.

And she's waiting till NOW to speak up?

Exactly. SO BRAVE to wait until trump is on fire to come out against him!!! Wow, real courage 🙄 Moderates have everyone fooled.

"The only thing in the middle of the road is a dead skunk and a moderate"

Collins only despises trump Bc he put her in a tough spot politically. If it was easy to support trump, she would support trump with a smile. She has no principles. She has wavered on every major issue

Susan Collins spinning this is an attempt to water down the controversy—and, likely from her understanding, it is in the best interest of the Republican Party for this to go away as soon as possible. (Yes—she was deliberately full of crap.)

to wait as long as she did. Personally, though, could only listen to her for about 5 seconds since her whiny voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

All these wishy washy repukes have one thing on their mind ! their own jobs. And, if they piss off at least half of their voters.

...next to the impact of her going on record as opposing Trump.

She could always change her mind, I suppose, and perhaps her recent statements do amount to a ransom note.
