HILLARY WANTS to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment, Donald Trump said Tuesday. By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I dont know.
The day after Mr. Trump delivered a relatively restrained speech on economic policy, the candidate once again trampled on Republican hopes that he would suddenly disguise himself as an acceptable politician.
You arent just responsible for what you say, Gen. Michael Hayden, a former CIA director, said in response to Mr. Trumps remark. Youre responsible for what people hear.
What did people hear? Many no doubt assumed Mr. Trump to be recycling ugly tea party rhetoric that contemplates Second Amendment remedies, a term former Nevada GOP Senate candidate Sharron Angle used in her 2010 campaign to suggest armed resistance to government tyranny. The voters rightly rejected Ms. Angle at the ballot box, and she receded from public view. But Mr. Trumps flirtation with such rhetoric poses a greater threat. By seeming to encourage armed insurrection against a Hillary Clinton administration, Mr. Trump has recklessly magnified the danger of his previous claim that the election is being rigged against him.

(45,003 posts)Not only is it a lie to say Hillary Clinton endorses 'abolishing' the 2nd Amendment -
but Trump's claim reveals that he knows jack shit about our Constitution or how
our Government actually works. Trump is a self-proclaimed moron.
edit: fixed up my clumsy mis-wording

(60,536 posts)isn't it a lie to say she endorses abolishing the 2d Amendment; rather than it's a "lie that Hillary Clinton does not endorse 'abolishing' the 2nd Amendment"? The caffeine IV has just been set up, please excuse me if I misunderstood what you wrote.

(10,126 posts)The only question now is how many more stupid, ignorant things he will say or do before November.
His campaign is over. He cannot win.
Many in the media don't even realize how bad it is. How is he going to win states like South Carolina & Mississippi they currently have in his column when their demographics show 30+ % black and 99% of blacks won't support the racist? Rhetorical question. He's done.
He's sick in the head and needs help.
