More Americans voted for a Democratic House than a GOP

Americans Actually Voted for a Democratic House
Think Progress: "Although a small number of ballots remain to be counted, as of this writing, votes for a Democratic candidate for the House of Representatives outweigh votes for Republican candidates... 53,952,240 votes were cast for a Democratic candidate for the House and only 53,402,643 were cast for a Republican -- meaning that Democratic votes exceed Republican votes by more than half a million."

redistricting kept our gains at a minimum.

They pack the minorities into safe Dem seats where they'll get at least 80% of the vote and crack the remaining districts so white Dems are underrepresented.

If it were up to me--and if I could get off scot-free just like the rethugs do--I'd give packing and cracking a new meaning. I'd crack their skulls open and pack the contents in a container to ship to KKKarl Rove (politically and metaphorically speaking, that is).
