2. Last night I clicked to donate $19 for Clinton, up comes another page

to confirm it I click, then another to make it a monthly payment and a button for continue. So I get two e-mails thanking me for
a $19 donation so apparently I unknowingly gave them $38. I am glad I closed it out and didn't click continue or I don't know what I would have donated. If I am charged $38 or charged monthly it will be the last from me. Oh then today I get another wanting $19 for that sticker.

3. Expected, but still smarmy

I know what you mean -- I threw $10 at the campaign the other day after (insert latest Trump fiasco here), and was sent to a page saying I could get some sticker if I donated again. I mean, I ain't in it for the swag, but it just feels like one of those sites you sign up for that you can never get out of. Guess it's to be expected from a site trying to get money, but it just feels smarmy to me.

4. I've been having trouble with my old computer and ended up backing out of a couple of pages...

...because all I wanted to do frankly was look at the new bumper stickers and buttons. I got one note saying my donation was "interrupted" so I thought that was the end of it, and tried again several days later. That was another incomplete thing because I really didn't want to make that donation just then! I've given about $500 one way and another already. This time I got a thank you letter for my $25 donation.

Screw that. I am a loyal Dem and a happy Hillary supporter, but when my credit card statement comes in at the end of this month I am going to Chase Bank in person to get them to dispute the charge for me and if possible reverse it just to make my point.

After my experience with recurring donations during the last presidential campaign ($20 to $25 a month is affordable and adds up after awhile, but I mistakenly assumed that would end after the election and it didn't) I vowed to do no more recurring donations.

But I still don't have a damn bumper sticker!

5. I donated $25 to Hillary the last 2 months, then after I give her $25 I get an e-mail

to get a badge or bumper sticker. Never got anything. I was also going to donate to Bold Democrats last night and
faced the same bullshit, I closed it out and didn't donate. How can you ask for donations and drive away people that
want to help. After giving money to the Hillary campaign I have 10 e-mails every day asking for more money from us on the sucker list.

6. Go to the very bottom of the page and look for the "unsubscribe" button

Before I did that last year I was getting 50 emails a day from every liberal concern imaginable because of campaign donations and signing petitions. I unsubscribed over and over until they all got the message.
