Tea Party Patriots(Idiots) Slams Romney Over Loss

The Tea Party Patriots organization blasted Mitt Romney for his election loss, saying the former Massachusetts governor was defeated because he was a “weak moderate.’’

The Patriots — one of the most vocal activist components of the tea party movement — added that Romney had been “handpicked’’ by Washington’s GOP establishment.

"For those of us who believe that America, as founded, is the greatest country in the history of the world — a ‘shining city upon a hill’ — we wanted someone who would fight for us," Jenny Beth Martin, national coordinator of the Patriots, told supporters in a statement Tuesday night, quoting Ronald Reagan.

"We wanted a fighter like Ronald Reagan who boldly championed America's founding principles,’’ she said. “What we got was a weak moderate candidate handpicked by the Beltway elites and country-club establishment wing of the Republican Party. The presidential loss is unequivocally on them."

Martin called Romney’s defeat “a catastrophic loss’’ and said her group will continue to fight government waste.

“Our work begins again today,’’ she said. “We will turn our attention back to Congress, to fight the battles that lie ahead including balancing the budget, repealing Obamacare, cutting the debt, holding the line on the debt ceiling, and the many other issues that will arise to threaten America.”

8. What the tea-party needs is a good living example of what tea-party governance look like, so

that everyone can see how well it works. After all, liberals have Western Europe as models, but all tea-partiers have is Somalia. I think they should all move to an undeveloped area of the country, or perhaps Mexico or Canada (if they will have them) and build up their model society from scratch. After all, they don't need any government help because they can "build it."
