Obama should call a meeting of Republican legislators.

But only the ones who have not signed the Grover Norquist pledge or have renounced it.

Any one who is sticking to it should be labeled as unwilling to compromise and be cut out of the loop.

What are the consequences?

What does the pledge say?

I will never ever, evr raise taxes for the rest of my life or give up my soul to the devil"

If it does, they're stupider than a monkey with his hand in a mellon!

Did we elect adults or just a bunch of fraturnity pranksters?

This is real life people! Let's get real!!

That may not be quite the threat it was in 2011, it's probably enough to give the more level-headed GOPers pause.

Obama is going to have to use the threat of defense cuts and tax hikes on the middle class if he is going to get some support from House Republicans.

They have no intentions of compromising unless it is their only choice.
