His comments included the policy shifts of GWBush and how that hasn't worked, and said that while Trump's kids might be intelligent people, we don't need amateurs and freelancers running foreign policy, we need professionals like HRC. He said the retired military people who have endorsed trump aren't advising him. He hasn't asked them to.

1. Why would any ex-general endorse Trump?

Trump's anti-NATO, pro-nuke, anti-vet, pro-Putin, pro-Saddam, climate-denying, and isolationist. Just about everything the military has been working for since 1945, Trump stands foursquare against.

2. It was almost as if the general was saying

You could go either way, but he called it "a judgment call."

I can't imagine the ugliness within the extremist ex military people that he got to sign his endorsement letter.
