She vacationed with him in North Carolina. The other socialites that she hung out with that knew Matt confirmed to her that he's quite a rabid Rethug. It's why Meredith and Katie interviewed the GOP on Today and Matt the Dems so his pro-repub bias wasn't quite so evident.

Learned this in the S2K chat room during the 2004 DNC after I urged this lady to look into his political leanings, as I suspected him of being a partisan hack.

4. I knew a model who was dating him in 1997.

I saw a photo in the back of Vogue of her with a guy at a party and asked who he was because they named him. She said something like "some guy." She said he was always bugging her about where she was or what she was doing and she didn't like it. She was not the model he married.
