Much more so than lying, which Trump seems to be able to do with regularity and without consequence.

VERSE 1
IS HE THAT RICH?
MAYBE HE'S POOR?
'TIL HE REVEALS HIS RETURNS
WHO CAN BE SURE?
WHO NEEDS THIS CLOWN?

VERSE 2
SOMETHING'S AMISS
I DON'T APPROVE
IF HE WERE RUNNING THE FREE WORLD,
WHERE WOULD WE MOVE?
NAME ME A TOWN?
JUST WHO IS THIS CLOWN?

BRIDGE
AND WHEN WE THOUGHT WE'D HEARD IT ALL
HUFFING AND PUFFING ABOUT HIS BIG FANTASY WALL
MAKING HIS ENTRANCE ON STAGE...
HE JUST SHOOTS FROM THE HIP
HE'S FULL OF BULL
HE'S LOST HIS GRIP!

VERSE 3
AND IF BY CHANCE
HE GETS TO HEAV'N
EVEN UP THERE HE'LL DECLARE...
CHAPTER ELEV'N!
WHO'D HIRE THIS CLOWN?
THIS SAD VULGAR CLOWN...
"YOU'RE FIRED" YOU CLOWN!

BRIDGE 2
HILLARY'S KIND...
SMART THAT IS CLEAR
WHILE SHE IS GIVING US HOPE...TRUMP IS SELLING US FEAR
LOOK HOW HE CHANGES HIS VIEWS EVERY TIME THAT HE SPEAKS
IT'S LIE AFTER LIE
CAN'T TAKE EIGHT MORE WEEKS!

VERSE 4
THIS IS NO FARCE
MAYBE HE'S BROKE?
IS THIS "THE ART OF HIS DEAL"
OR SOME AWFUL JOKE?
YOU'VE GOT TO ADMIT...
THIS SILLY HALF-WIT...
IS SO FULL OF _ _ _ _!

FYI, she got 9 standing ovations!

Just apologize, get it out of the way, and move on.

In fact, maybe this was deliberate to give her the chance to apologize and look like a "real" person or whatever people say she needs to do.

For me, insult Trump all you want, but there's no upside in criticizing voters, no matter how true it is.

If only because it gives moderate Republicans an excuse to reject her. Kind of like if you insult your family it's ok, but let an outsider come and try it...

But I'm curious to hear your reasoning.

if they really want to be aligned with the deplorables. Everything she said was true--don't back down and use this as a way to hammer him for accepting support from white supremacists. Make him OWN his base.

Also, she can't afford to apologize for anything. Double down--it makes her look strong, and apologizing would show weakness.

The media is trying to make their hideous views mainstream...that is my reasoning. My daughter was a protestor in Youngstown when the orange Cheeto came...an invitation-only gathering of about 300 Trump supporters...the Trump supporters are mostly racist scum who feel their views are now being respected...she was vilified and threatened...this must end. Good for Hillary. As for the moderates...many find the alt right deplorable too and may not want to be associated with the alt-right...it could go either way.

Moderate republicans from bolting back to Trump because she's so "divisive".

Trump says whatever the fuck he wants to, has said far more offensive things than this, never apologizes and now she needs to own this?

No, call that double standard out and say I'll apologize once Trump does for the 100 offensive things he said, vast majority of which aren't true.
