Dying goldfish - could not find an ad forum location so

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by In_The_Wind (a host of the 2016 Postmortem forum).

I am throwing it out here. I am retired and do a lot of switching between MSNBC and CNN.

I may be driven crazy by the 'dying goldfish' ad put on by the Ad Council since 2005, about asthma. Yes, it has been going at least that long.
For weeks now, it has been on several times an hour on both cnn and msnbc.

You can't mute the danged thing quickly enough to avoid seeing a goldfish flopping around out of water at least a couple of times.
It has been complained about for years online but to no avail.

Is this a form of torture that some group out there is inflicting on TV political show viewers? Is it on Fox also? I have not been able to watch them long enough to find out. If not, then it could be Roger Ailes doing it!

Does anyone else mute/change channel when this ad appears?
