Nance, you asked me to turn my post into an OP - thank you. Shall do. I'm still sitting here wondering why nobody's covering the FACT of all the Trump rallies where they're wearing "Trump the Bitch" and "Hillary for Prison" t-shirts (AND worse), roaring "lock her up" with fists waving in the air, picking fights with people on hand with whom they disagree, menacing, threatening, and getting in-yer-face with some of 'em a la Wrestlemania, and even beating up on little old ladies who dare to disagree.
Almost NO coverage of that.
But how can ANYONE claim that this behavior is not deplorable, AND THESE PEOPLE WHO OPENLY AND PROUDLY DISPLAY THIS BEHAVIOR, are not deplorable? Who can honestly excuse this and claim it's no big deal?
Hillary was RIGHT.

Sure seems pretty doggone deplorable to me! Both the actions described here AND the people perpetrating those actions. Hell, Trump's even exhorted the "2nd amendment" people to deal with Hillary if she gets too far. What on earth would you call that?
They're okay with a guy who asks "if we have nukes, why can't we use them?" (Sorry - I'm kinda stopped COLD on that one. Regardless how many shitty things he says, THIS one is the big one for me. I really don't need to hear anything else, frankly, to know how horrifying a prospect his "presidency" would be.)
They're okay with a guy who insults women - calls 'em every name in the book.
They're okay with a guy who lies with the same frequency that most of us breathe.
They're okay with a guy who screws his employees and subcontractors, and uses bankruptcy as a regular and too-frequently-used business tool.
They're okay with a guy who swindles people out of their money for a phony "university."
They're okay with a guy who bribes public officials to weasel out of lawful and necessary investigations.
They're okay with a guy who refuses to be honest about his finances, tax returns, and other forms of "transparency."
They're okay with a guy whose "surrogates" fan out across the TV/cable/hate radio landscape who are all deceitful, disingenuous, confrontational, and rude. Just like a lot of them are. I guess this is the Approved Behavior of the Season, 'eh?
They're okay with a guy who makes a public mockery of a disabled person.
They're okay with a guy who's a serial cheater, one of those schmucks who trades in aging wives for bright shiny new ones who don't have wrinkles or stretch marks yet.
They're okay with a guy who damn near fondles his adult-age daughter in public, and talks about how he'd love to date her if she weren't related to him.
They're okay with a guy who embraces - I won't even excuse it by calling it as mellow a thing as "white nationalism." FUCK THAT. It's full-on White Supremacy, dammit.
They're okay with a guy who stands squarely with people whose belief systems are marked by staggering willful ignorance - including denial of climate change, civil rights, hardworking immigrants with OR without documentation, resentment toward anybody who isn't white, refusal to recognize changing times, a penchant for violence, and the desperate clinging to other Dark Ages thinking. AND he has a pathetically regressive religious fanatic as his running mate. They're okay with THAT, too.
They're okay with a guy who gushes about the wonderfulness of at least one of the most long-recognized dangerous men in the world.
They're okay with a television snake-oil salesman who's biggest accomplishment is subjecting people to public humiliation by firing them on live television.
And they're anxious to vote for him and elevate him to the highest office in the land (not to mention the most powerful job IN THE WORLD).
So let me just ask the question. WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT THEM??? And how is this not DEPLORABLE? How are THEY not DEPLORABLE?
Pointing out that these people are deplorable - is just stating another in a continuing series of facts about this horrid excuse for a human being - AND the nasty, yowling, small-minded, hate-crazed people who support him and find him fit to be President.

Even through all the trashy things he's done that no sane and caring person should excuse (like his mocking the disabled reporter by flailing his arms) it's extremely hard, very much so, to not go right back to one of the first issues any person who wants to be alive should be stunned by - the dangerous creep said multiple times
