Little Miss Flint meets Obama, and then Cheeto

Amariyanna Copeny, an 8-year-old girl from Flint, MI, also known as “Little Miss Flint,” got to meet President Barack Obama earlier this year after he responded to a letter she wrote him about lead in her town’s water supply.

Here’s what that looked like.

Yesterday, Amariyanna got to meet Republican candidate Donald Trump. In a post on Facebook, Amariyanna’s mother LuLu Brezzell said her daughter wanted to ask him “What are you going to do for the kids here in Flint” but did not get the chance.

They did get to have a quick photo op though. Here’s what that looked like:

The forced smile on Trump, the clutching of the little girls wrist instead of holding her hand, her expression of fear, all make for a creepy photo op indeed.

I think he has no clue how to deal with small children. I suspect the Trumplets were raised by nannies, and saw their father on rare and formal occasions.
