There are many things people can do, besides canvassing and phone-banking. Call and you'll find something that suits your time constraints and personality.

I will be fully engaged starting first weekend of October, through and including election day.
I try to find at least 4 new people every election to get registered and make sure they vote.
Hint: I find new young voters, who seem to take great pride in knowing they are concealing out many of their parents vote.
Many their fathers, it is our secret!
I proudly volunteer every 2 years and try to always stay engaged.
