Don't know if this is accurate, Trump's plan to hyjack the debates

Got this that said Trump was planning on hijacking the debates. The article explains an email he sent to his Turmpers asking them what they thought he should talk about and how he was going to ignore the moderators.

If anyone has more information on this, please share as I have never seen this source before: http://samuel-warde.com/2016/09/trump-shows-hand-reveals-plan-hijack-debates/

He has none, except warmed-over Reaganomics with overt racism and xenophobia.

I expect a Gish Gallop/fillibuster of epic proportions.

Frankly, I think it's gonna suck.

AND work for him, because the folks in the media who WOULD fact check him will be nowhere near him if/when he's on a debate stage. I fully expect Cooper to go in hard on Hillary and give tRump a velvet glove treatment I'd be HAPPY if proven wrong, but I don't think I will be. There's no reason for the so-called Liberal Media to all of a sudden start fact-checking this orange racist, misogynistic liar, especially since he's their cash cow and brings in viewer ship $$$ to their networks.

WE have to work harder to do whatever we CAN from our end to get Hillary elected. Continue phone banking from blue states, donate even it's a little, GOTV.

Because you KNOW he's not intelligent, knowledgeable or disciplined ENOUGH and never will be to follow a debate format.

I can totally see him ignoring ALL protocols of the 3 debates--that's if he does all 3.

Somehow, Hillary has to have a contingency plan when/if this happens. NO need for HER to have to suffer if he won't answer the questions asked of him during the debate. He'll try to turn the atmosphere into a 3-ring circus to keep the attention off his dumb know-nothing behind, and to KEEP Hillary off-balance.

BE ready Hillary--something bad is coming your way during the debates--if there ARE debates.

They usually have followup time. After she answers the question in her main time, her followup can be telling the viewers what he has said or not said on the subject throughout the campaign.

For example, if the question is on foreign policy, she can mention that he thinks it's ok to use nukes. Or, she can correct whatever nonsense he spouts. She can even ask him to explain the nonsense, "what does that mean, Mr. Trump?"

She thinks quickly on her feet. The only worry is pundits misinterpreting and bolstering the functional halfwit. They all stink.

3. Should Hillary
Fri Sep 16, 2016, 01:22 PM
Sep 2016

Ask when Melania's press conference is going to be held?
Should Hillary ask why his testosterone was checked?
Should Hillary ask him to clarify how deep his close relationships with Russian Mobsters and China Banks are?

As much as I would like to have those questions asked - it won't happen.

The moderators I HOPE will do their jobs and ask the questions.

8. I hope the debate sponsors have a remedy for this.

Something as simple as giving the moderator a "cut the mike" button when a respondent is not answering the question could work. They should be able to come up with a better remedy.

9. Hillary needs to be prepared for Trump to mimic Reagan (v. Carter).

"Well, there you go again."

Maybe she should just laugh in his face if he tries that and say, "You are entertaining, I will give you that, Donald. Now could we have a serious answer to the question? I will wait if you want to think about it a bit."

Taking that superior attitude toward Hillary won't work as it did when Reagan used it toward Carter. He might as well say, "Well, there you go again, little lady."

If he tries it, he'll have moderate and independent women joining progressives in barfing all over the US.

12. I don't think he could help himself...

Hillary will likely push and pigeon-hole him on an issue, back him into a corner. He doesn't seem to care for strong women who stand up to him. He has a tendency to verbally lash out in repugnant ways.

He might be able to restrain himself for half an hour...maybe even a solid hour, but if she needles him right, tRump won't be able to contain himself. He's only able to discipline himself for short time. He'll come across as a misogynistic bully.

At least that's what I predict could happen.

13. It's too bad that presidential debates aren't like academic debates with points.
Fri Sep 16, 2016, 03:59 PM
Sep 2016

The moderators otherwise could give points when their questions have been fully addressed and answered. If Trump didn't answer fully or at all, no points.

Plus, HRC is a graduate of law school and was an attorney. She's used to hardball questions. She'd answer so completely, the moderators would have to ask to curtail her responses.

Not sure how it will work in a presidential debate but I wouldn't put it past Trump to try it.

The question is whether the moderator will cut his mike if he refuses to answer the posed question or follow debate policy.
