The dog-whistle hidden in Trump's fiasco/infomercial/birther thing today.

Bear with me for a few here.

Back in 2010 there was an Army Lt. Col. Terry Larkin who announced that he would disobey his orders for a second tour of duty in Afghanistan, because he believed the orders to be illegal because Obama was not a natural-born citizen and therefore was not eligible to serve as Commander-In-Chief. He was Court Martialed, found guilty, served 5 months in Leavenworth and dismissed from the military.

However, at his trial, several senior officers testified on his behalf, supporting his claim that Obama must produce his birth certificate. One of these officers was retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, ret.

What does this have with this morning's fiasco you ask?

Well, wanna guess who introduced Trump when he finally got around to making his statement? If you guessed Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, ret. you win a poney. And you thought Trump was really telling his base that Obama was born here? Yeah right, and I've got some ocean-front property in Arizona for you.

But one of the black caucus leaders aptly described Trump's brand of racism as no longer a dog whistle but a howl of wolves.
