That is a line from the movie The Verdict with Paul Newman, where the judge who noticeably unfair, and puts every obstacle in the way of the Newman's character, that during one particularly outrageous action by the judge, the Newman character calls out the judge's actions:
"Your honor, with all due respect: if you're going to try my case for me, I wish you wouldn't lose it."
That quote came to my mind when I thought of the media's double standard.
Hillary is held to one standard, and trump is held to no standard
When Hillary said that a good number of trump supporters belong to groups that are racists, sexist, and xenophobic, and that is deplorable, the media went crazy. Where are they when trump is spewing his hate filled rhetoric?
The Clinton Foundation's Books are wide open for public consumption. Hillary has released decades of tax returns. Where is this media demanding the same from Trump?
It was perhaps the Matt Lauer interview which brought to the front the double standard of the sorry excuse we have for the media.
msnbc, cnn, fox, and all the rest, do your f**king job for a change
