If you can't remember all your lies, you're telling too many

Truth be told, it isn’t really about Hillary anymore.

Her picture comes on the screen, and you are very tempted to channel surf away from it.

But The Donald comes on, that orange pumpkin face fills the screen, and you stop to listen to what new outrage gushes forth from his lips.

It does not matter if what he says is false. That Trump lies on a regular and dismal basis is no longer a question. It is a fact.
For months and months, the national press corps has been tiptoeing around this. But now it has stopped clutching its pearls and has decided to call the truth the truth and a falsehood a falsehood.

“Trump Gives Up a Lie, But Refuses to Repent,” was the front-page headline on Michael Barbaro’s tough-as-nails piece in The New York Times on Friday.

I fear that I will throw something at the TV and it will cost me a new TV.

It's not that Trump lies, but that the media helps him peddle those lies.

I was in LA this weekend and the Saturday headline in the LA Times was: Trump exchanges one falsehood for two.

When Hillary speaks, I lean in to hear the substance of what she's saying.

And when Trump begins shouting, I just turn the channel.
Voting with my clicker feels pretty good.
Really voting to never see this clown again is going to be AWESOME !!!

is less than 50% of people who actually vote, and/or are concentrated in too few states to win the Electoral College. It's pretty scary. Sure, everybody loves a winner and far too many people are willing to look past lying and cheating to worship their heroes.

I disagree. He's betting that the Truth is irrelevant.

Based on his business history, and his progress so far in this campaign, it's a good bet. He has never suffered a consequence for lying. It's always worked to his advantage.
