Omarosa Manigault: ‘Every Critic, Every Detractor, Will Have To Bow Down To President Trump’

Omarosa Manigault: ‘Every Critic, Every Detractor, Will Have To Bow Down To President Trump’

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/omarosa-bown-to-president-trump_us_57e47e34e4b0e80b1ba15296?section=&

Donald Trump’s director of African-American outreach has an ominous warning for all who dared to criticize the Republican presidential nominee: Soon, they will have to bow down to “the most powerful man in the universe.”

In an upcoming “Frontline” special, Omarosa Manigault told PBS that the roots of Trump’s presidential campaign may be traced back to the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner, when President Barack Obama cracked a few jokes at the real estate mogul’s expense. The quips came after Trump falsely accused Obama of lying about his birthplace and citizenship, thus feeding the discredited right-wing “birther” conspiracy theory.

<<<snip>>>

She said:

“Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.”

For 8 years I wouldn't even call George W. Bush the 'P' word (He was the resident-in-chief). Last time I checked I do not bow down for ANYONE even if that was Bill Clinton or Barack Obama - 2 presidents I did vote for.

What kind of idiot would say something as stupid as this. Oh wait, she's a Trump mouthpiece.

Everyone associated with dipshit donnie is some kind of caricature of a movie or tv show. You have the infowarts guy with his campaign warning us all about the reptilian aliens who are taking over the world. (From "V" the movie and show). You have omarosa and thinking her boss is general zod from superman. You have the town people in general from "Blazing Saddles" as part of his larger cast of characters he has following him. You have the wwe direction in a campaign. You have a daytime soap opera with dipshit and all his wives and his cheating. You have russian agents from a spy movie. And the list goes on. It's unreality tv at it's worse.

Consider all of the outrageous crap that has come out of Trump's mouth. No one could have ever predicted a major party nominee would ever said such unbelievable things. It would take something even more outrageous than that coming out of the mouth of Trump or his surrogates to surprise me.

I guarantee that if the Trump campaign had to spin that comment they would say that she ment it figuratively not literally. They are use to trying to spin feces into fertilizer.

This is getting beyond scary. It really is. You'd think people who define themselves as being patriots (the "Don't Tread on Me" flag types) would be 100% revolted by the idea of a dictator becoming president. I mean, any population would reject a tyrant but I'd have thought that the God, guns, and country types would be super vociferous about it. Apparently not.

Biblical reference that Christians have given the son of God. I don't think Handel was referencing a future Trump when he penned "King of Kings and Lord of Lords."
As a Christian, I'm truly offended and hopeful that others will feel the same. Sadly most Trump Christians stopped following the teachings of Jesus long ago. Hatred is their mantra, so perhaps their new King will be someone like Trump. The wing nuts like to philosophize that the anti Christ has already been born. Maybe they're onto something.

The President is a powerful and influential person to be sure. I think the moniker "The most powerful person in the Free World is a bit hyperbolic, but apt.

Still, they are elected to office to serve the needs of the constituents of the United States. To execute the laws and administer the bureaucracy for the benefit of all of the people. That is supposedly the point of the Declaration (that all men/people are created equal) and the Constitution (to form a more perfect union).

I have always thought that while I might admire the person who is the President and I certainly respect the office, I am an equal citizen to the person. I would never bow, or be deferential to that person "just because they are President". President or not, you still have to earn my respect by what you do and how you comport yourself.
