Has Romney endorsed Trump?

I was just late night tooling thru Youtube and came across this thing from March. Most of the active Republicans have gone on Vichy with The Donald. I'm just curious if ol' Whitewalls has sold out yet.

1. It would surprise me. Raider though he be, I ascribe some scruples.

So now you can prove me wrong, Mitt.

Romney doesn't hold public office and isn't running for anything. He doesn't have to kiss Trump's butt like he did in 2012.

He's in the "never will I ever" camp last I saw a few weeks ago. I don't expect that to change. He's not currently in a position to be beholden to those in power. Kind of like GHW Bush. They can thumb their noses at Trump at their leisure.

9. Well, he'll probably "support the president" after one of Trump's fuck ups kills a lot of people

The tragedy in the deregulated coal mine, or the exploding pipeline, or the torture related death of some innocent person, or the retaliation for the bombing of some country that pissed President Trump off, or the North Korean invasion of South Korea, or the Russian invasion of Estonia, or the measles outbreak at the Fort Dix Immigration Detention Center, or the economic collapse of 2019, or whatever else Trump does to fuck it all up will, inevitably, "bring us all together as a people."

And so we'll forget about the curious computer "glitches" in the new American Elections Security Act of 2020 that assure his first reelection. The only question is, will it be Eric or Don Jr who takes over as VP after Mike Pence moves onto the Supreme Court.

10. I think Mitt's been in the "lie low" camp...

...since the maneuvers to block Trump at the convention -- to no one else's surprise -- failed.

He's not in office, he's not running for anything. He doesn't need a political job. He doesn't need anything from Donald. He can afford to sit back and not be openly involved.

It's interesting to see Republicans divided between the "lie low" camp and the "lie constantly" camp.

13. Are you suggesting Mitt isn't in the "lie constantly" category himself?

I suspect you'd agree he's more of a Platinum Card member of the same club.

14. Well, not being in power himself, he has less reason to lie

And besides, are you suggesting that Trump is not a bigger liar than Romney?
