I *FULLY* expect Donald Trump to WIN the Debate Tomorrow night and handily

Last edited Mon Sep 26, 2016, 10:32 AM - Edit history (1)

This is where he shines: the quip. The one liner. Hillary is more of a policy wonk, so while I am voting for her (BELIEVE *THAT*) I fully expect that if Donald Trump does not win tomorrow night's debate by a landslide, it is more proof that his campaign is in disarray, and he is ill-equipped for the job.

He should win tomorrow by a MILE. If he doesn't, well, you know...

His petty personal attacks garner attention because they're unprecedented at this level, not because they're creative or witty.

Crooked/Little/Goofy/Low Energy (insert name)

3rd grade level insults, at best.

That bombast of his worked with those 16 other clowns in the repug primary debates but one-on-one with someone with experience and knowledge, no.

You have to actually know things about foreign and domestic policy.

I think Trump gets his ass kicked.

He is a Showman and he will be very charismatic, I can tell you that. Okay.

He is very confident and will have no self doubt at all. None, none at all. Why should he when he feels that he is the best
at what he does. And he does feel that way, you can tell he is very confident just by the way he carries himself. Because of this confidence he will show no signs of self doubt. He has confidence, tremendous confidence.

And if it is shown, by Hillary or the moderator, that there is some untruthfulness in something that he says, his mind will quickly find a way to connect some thread of truth to those words, and thereby maintain his feeling of righteousness. And even if there is no thread of truth to be found, even by him, I'm thinking that he will truly believe that it doesn't matter because, in his mind, he is the one that should be president. And since that is true, in his mind, it is the only truth that matters and we should all just believe him.(Believe in him.)

You see, confidence is spellbinding. His boldness, showmanship and confidence nearly ensures that the viewing public will be taken in by his charisma.

I'm not the one that brought this up. This is what others, many others are saying. I don't know, maybe there is some truth to it.

We have had great debate performances in the past. Lincoln's performances come to mind. Be sure to tune in because it is likely that we will have the chance, to once again, witness one of the greatest debate performances of all time. That I can tell you. Okay.

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump has an arsenal of zingers, but no real content or knowledge—and the media will love it.

His character won't be able to stand it. I doubt he has had a woman practise debate him either. He will either revert to being mummy's boy or go on a mysogonist attack. Sad.

But he will be the BESTEST mummysboy or mysogonist EVER.

I agree with BigBearJohn, Hillary will indeed obliterate Trump. But on Tuesday the TV networks will declare Trump the winner.

Expectations for Trump are so low that if he remembers his own name the press will say he greatly exceeded expectations.

And expectations for Hillary are so high that if she makes even one error she will be pilloried by the press for a disappointing performance.

He'll interrupt, talk over her, shout, and call her names. It will be almost impossible for Hillary to get her message across. That's exactly what he did in the primaries, and he knows that it's a tactic that plays well with the drama of reality tv.

What I would love to see is for him to be shut down when it's not his turn to talk even if it means turning off his mic. Of course, since journalism is all but dead in the U.S., it will never happen.

He might win a shouting match. He might win a media circus. He will not win the debate.
